Wayne Lewis is or has been a professional writer, a secretary, a security guard, a bass player, a minor-league rock critic, and a beard model. For 10-plus years, he wrote on staff for some of Southern California's top research institutions—USC, then City of Hope, and most recently Caltech. Like a samurai without a master, he now sells his sword.
(Metaphorically. The sword is communication skills.)
At one moment or another, supermodel Cindy Crawford, acting icon Louis Gossett Jr., and NFL Hall of Famer Howie Long have spoken words that Wayne wrote. He created stories and messages for a successful billion-dollar fundraising campaign from start to finish, earned a staff award for collaboration, and contributed to anelectronic magazine recognized with a Silver Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
But he doesn't do this stuff for the glamour, or the trophies.
He and his wife live in the Valley Glen neighborhood of North Hollywood in Los Angeles with a cat named after a Bruce Willis character and a cat named after a John Milius movie (they’re brothers).
Wayne abides, as ever, at your service.
