UCLA, UCSB share $23.7 million grant to study biologically based polymers

The (frankly amazing) science and engineering project here is a collaboration, and so was the work of announcing the grant that fuels it. Much respect due to James Badham of UC Santa Barbara’s College of Engineering, who was fun to work with (and I think deserves more of the credit than I do).
